BIG BANG /SPACE-TIME/ HAWKINS AND BIG BANG NATURAL LAWS VS ATHEISM

Physicist Stephen Hawking delivers a lecture in South Africa in 2008. In a new book, he says science doesn't need God to explain the origin of the universe.

There is no place for God in theories on the creation of the Universe, the physicist and mathematician Professor Stephen Hawkinghas said.

He had previously argued that belief in a creator was not incompatible with science - but in a new book The Grand Design, he concludes that the Big Bang was an inevitable consequence of the laws of physics.

AS PER HAWKINS ALONG WITH THE BIG BANG CAME EVERYTHING INCLUDING THE NATURAL LAWS OF SCIENCE (PHYSICAL/CHEMICAL/BIOLOGICAL /ETC)

SO NOW IT SEEMS THE NATURAL LAWS OF SCIENCE ; WAS WAITING FOR THE BIG BANG TO OCCUR ; IN/AT THAT POINT OF BLAST ;TO TAKE OVER THE AFTER EFFECTS OF THE BIG-BANG!!

THE BASIC QUESTION SCIENTIST MUST ANSWER IS :-IS THERE ANY LAW WITHOUT A LAW MAKER/LAW GIVER??
AND
IS THERE ANY LAW WHICH CAN BE SUSTAINED WITHOUT A LAW ENFORCER ?

IT SEEMS MANY SCIENTISTS ARE A CONFUSED LOT TO ANSWER BASIC QUESTIONS ;AND THEY ARE QUITE GOOD IN FINDING MANY NEW THINGS ;OR TO TELL IT ANOTHER WAY IS TO CALL THEM BRILLIANT PEOPLE WITH NO COMMON SENSE

Before Time and Space:-

John Archibald Wheeler (July 9, 1911 – April 13, 2008) was an American theoretical physicist. One of the later collaborators of Albert Einstein, he tried to achieve Einstein's vision of a unified field theory. He is also known for having coined the terms black hole, quantum foam and wormhole and the phrase "it from bit".

In 1990, Wheeler has suggested that information is fundamental to the physics of the universe. According to this 'it from bit' doctrine, all things physical are information-theoretic in origin.
Wheeler: It from bit. Otherwise put, every 'it'—every particle, every field of force, even the space-time continuum itself—derives its function, its meaning, its very existence entirely—even if in some contexts indirectly—from the apparatus-elicited answers to yes-or-no questions, binary choices, bits. 'It from bit' symbolizes the idea that every item of the physical world has at bottom—a very deep bottom,

in most instances—an immaterial source and explanation; that which we call reality[??]

arises in the last analysis from the posing of yes–no questions and the registering of equipment-evoked responses; in short, that all things physical are information-theoretic in origin and that this is a participatory universe.
Wheeler has speculated that the laws of physics may be evolving in a manner analogous to evolution by natural selection in biology. "How does something arise from nothing?", he asks about the existence of space and time (Princeton Physics News, 2006).

He also coined the term Strong Anthropic Principle[ANOTHER THEORY CAUSING CONFUSION AMONG SCIENTISTS]

The anthropic idea that fundamental parameters are selected from a multitude of different possibilities (each actual in some universe or other) contrasts with the traditional hope of physicists for a theory of everything having no free parameters: as Einstein said, "What really interests me is whether God had any choice in the creation of the world." Quite recently, proponents of the leading candidate for a "theory of everything",string theory, proclaimed "the end of the anthropic principle

Wheeler has speculated that the laws of physics may be evolving in a manner analogous to evolution by natural selection in biology.

Martin Redfern: Many don't agree with John Wheeler, but if he's right then we and presumably other conscious observers throughout the universe, are the creators — or at least the minds that make the universe manifest.

God and the Brain

Synopsis: Findings seem to point to a region of the brain commonly referred to as the 'God Spot' or 'God Module', that when stimulated creates hallucinations that are interpreted as mystical or spiritual experiences. This 'spot' is stimulated during meditation and prayer and is affected by electromagnetic fields

A group of neuroscientists at the University of California at San Diego has identified a region of the human brain that appears to be linked to thoughts of spiritual matters and prayer. Their findings tentatively suggest that we as a species are genetically programmed to believe in God.

It's a double-edged sword shoved right through the heart of the science vs. religion debate, bearing either good news or bad news for the faithful masses depending on how you answer the chicken-or-the-egg question: does it mean that God created our brains, or that our brains created God?

No matter how inconclusive or sketchy they label their findings as being, these scientists will inevitably be denounced as heathenistic blasphemers doing the work of Satan. Yet at the very same time, other equally devout worshipers will praise this discovery as a beautiful and wondrous epiphany that spells out God's great plan.

Demographics of atheism:-

Europe

According to the most recent relevant Eurostat Eurobarometer poll, in 2005, 52% of European Union citizens responded that "they believe there is a God", whereas 27% answered that "they believe there is some sort of spirit or life force" and 18% that "they do not believe there is a spirit, God, nor life force"

United Kingdom

In the United Kingdom, a 2007 survey found 15% of the population attends church more than once per month.A poll in 2004 by the BBC put the number of people who do not believe in a God at 39%, while a YouGov poll in the same year put the percentage of non-believers at 35% with 21% answering "Don't Know".In the YouGov poll men were less likely to believe in a god than women, 39% of men as opposed to 49% of women, and younger people were less likely to believe in a god than older people.

North America

A 2004 BBC poll showed the number of people in the US who don't believe in a god to be about 9%. A 2008 Gallup poll showed that a smaller 6% of the US population believed that no god or universal spirit exists. The 2001 ARIS report found that while 29.5 million U.S. Americans (14.1%) describe themselves as "without religion", only 902,000 (0.4%) positively claim to be atheist, with another 991,000 (0.5%) professing agnosticism.

South America

  • Argentina - 11.3% "indifferent towards religion" (including agnostic and atheists)
  • Brazil - 7.4% Non-Religious, agnostics, and atheists)
  • Chile - 8.3% Atheist or Agnostic
  • Peru - 1.4% Non-religious as of 1993
  • Uruguay - 23.2% "believing in God but without religion", 17.2% Atheist or Agnostic

Asia

In Israel, around 50% of Israelis who were born ethnically Jewish consider themselves "secular" or hilonim, some of them still keep certain religious traditions for cultural reasons, but most are immersed within the Secular Jewish culture. The number of Atheists and Agnostics is lower, and it stands at 15% to 37%.
According to the surveys of Phil Zuckerman on Adherents.com in 1993, 59% (over 700 million)[of the Chinese population was irreligious and 8% - 14% was atheist [SCARED OF BIG BROTHER COMMUNIST PARTY MAY BE]

Scientists

The question of religious belief among US scientists has been debated since early in the century. Our latest survey finds that, among the top natural scientists, disbelief is greater than ever—almost total.
In 1914, eminent US psychologist James H. Leuba found that 58% of 1,000 randomly selected US scientists expressed disbelief or doubt in the existence of God, and that this figure rose to near 70% among the 400 "greater" scientists within his sample.

SO SCIENTISTS AS A COMMUNITY HAS A DIFFERENT SORT OF BELIEF THAN THE VAST MAJORITY OF COMMON PEOPLE
ONLY HITLER CALLED COMMON MAN A FOOL

SO COMMON SENSE CANNOT GO WRONG  ;WHEN SCIENTISTS MAKE A BIG BANG ABOUT CREATION

hi mr Hawking whether you acknowledge God or not ;i have seen your extraordinary capacity to analyze difficult problems as a 'GIFT OF GOD' -.AND- 'THANK GOD' FOR THAT GIFT
